About
Desert Rose

Alyssa first began with the idea of turning cerekote art into a full-time business in 2020. Having done work for individuals as well as a few local military manufacturers, she wanted to be able to keep the business at a size that would always allow the personal touch that made all the difference.

Desert Rose was officially launched in 2021.

Alyssa was introduced to the business at an early age with her Father’s business, Desert Ordnance.

Desert Ordnance, known for their ARs, M60s, Bolt Action Rifles, hand guns, and most notably their custom builds, was having an increased need for help during a period of growth.

By helping out with online sales, transitioning into Cerakoting, training under her Father and a local Certified Cerakote artist, Alyssa was able to learn first hand, best practices, techniques and the art of Cerakote.

Then Desert Rose was born. Desert Rose now handles Cerakote for all of the Desert Ordnance custom builds as well as pieces for individuals and local military contracts.

“I’ve now been cerakoting for about 4 years and love it! I also love that this business has given me a way to be a part of the family business, but in my own unique way.
